WHO IS HIGHMARK HOMES?

It starts with family. Highmark Homes began as a joint venture between Gino Lucchese and his brother, and continued to grow over the decades, expanding to encompass his children, and then his grandchildren. The pride that has driven generations to come together beneath the banner of Highmark Homes stems from an unwavering dedication to family, both ours and yours.

Since its inception, Highmark has built hundreds of homes across the GTA, with a focus on quality construction, vibrant communities, and an unwavering commitment to our customers. As we grow with the dynamic future of homebuilding, Highmark Homes is entering the world of high-rise with brand new condominiums coming to Pickering and Whitby,
continuing our goal to build a strong future for Durham Region.

July 3, 1958

Gino steps foot on Canadian soil after a three-week voyage across the Atlantic.

Early Craftsmanship

In 1959

Less than one year later, Gino plasters his first home near Toronto.

And so it begins

In 1964

Gino teams up with his brother to start a home building company.

Highmark is born

In 2003

After nearly 40 years of hands on experience, Gino’s passion for building quality homes is captured in a new identity, Highmark Homes. That same year, Gino’s children join the team.

500 and counting

In early 2016

Gino and his Highmark team build their 500th new home.

Creating communities

Highmark homes proudly completes its 10th community.
